| Yvonne snapped this shot of her Sunbeam class holding their super cool Sunbeam tote bags she made using "Zion's Daughters" and "Sons of Helaman" fabric prints. What a really cool Mormon fabric project for her Sunbeam class!! Yvonne said, "They were thirlled, especially since I put their names on the bags". Way to go Sunbeam Class !!! You've got a teacher that loves you! Thanks from the heart... |
Stacey from Arizona shared this really cute photo of her project for her neice and nephew using "Zion's Daughters" and "Sons of Helaman" fabrics. | Patricia sent in this snap using "I am a child of God" along with "Zion's Daughters" LDS fabrics.
She said, "I'm so excited I can make a unique baby blanket now for my good friends who just had their daughter [Marybelle] - instead of a baby blanket with the usual things on it, it will have her upcoming milestones in the gospel!!! I love it..." Marybelle - you are in good company! May your faith grow strong...
Judy from Nevada shared this - "Love your fabrics. Fun patterns a great way to keep them thinking about the gospel... We made small travel pillowcases for our entire YW. They love them. The perfect size to take anywhere. We talk about individual worth because we sewed their first names on to each pillow case (just around the border)."
Fabric used is "Zion's Daughters" with corrdinating colors |
"My Son recently left for Russia. Prior to his packing up and heading out, I made a missionary quillow for him to take along. The pocket on the front looks like an envelope with his address on it. I had such a fun time making it for him and he loved it. I am sure he will enjoy the warmth this coming winter in Russia. I LOVE that Missionary Fabric." Robynn - Texas
Fabric used is "I Hope They Call Me On A Mission" with corrdinating colors. A quillow is a blanket (or quilt –hence the name) with a built in pocket. The blanket folds up into the pocket –creating a pillow. Any blanket or quilt can be made into a quillow by attaching a pocket with a finished width 1/3 of the width of the blanket plus 1 to 2 inches and a length of about ¼ of the blanket plus 1 to 2 inches.
